MISALIGNED EYE MUSCLES
Misaligned, or crossed eyes, can be embarassing to adults, and vision threatening for children.
A misaligned eye in a child can lead to "lazy vision" in one eye. If not treated at an early age, permanent visual loss in one eye can result. If you suspect your child has a crossed or misaligned eye, you should schedule an eye exam as soon as possible. Patching, glasses and/or surgery may help to restore normal vision in your child.
